In these challenging times, cross-fertilization is key. The Exhibition Industry should look outside their usual sphere, discover different approaches and initiate new collaborations. The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) could be such an example. EEN is a successful network established in 2008 by the European Commission. It is now active in more than 60 countries worldwide and it brings together 3,000 experts from more than 600 member organisations, assisting European SMEs in their internationalisation efforts. The coronavirus outbreak affects the exhibition industry with many trade fairs being cancelled or postponed. Events and exhibition were the first to be stopped and will be the last to open again due to the preparation time required. A major share of the buisness in the first half of 2020 is lost. The economic impacts on our industry and all our customers are immense.

Our aim is to restart providing platforms for businesses - small and big - and people to meet, trade and innovate as soon as reasonably possible in a responsible way
